Freiburg against Hamburg is the afternoon match in the Bundesliga on Sunday. Both teams represent the worst defences of the Bundesliga and both are already deep inside the relegation zone. Whoever is going to lose this match will have a decent problem.

The SC Freiburg has lost three of the last four matches and slipped down the table. At least the last match was luckily won 1:0 against Mönchengladbach, but even then the team did not seem secure at all. Positive, Freiburg kept a clean sheet in this match. Considering that they conceded 22 goals in the 7 matches before, this was a real progress. To tighten the defence Freiburg just engaged the unemployed former national defender Andreas Hinkel (former Celtic). He will be able to play after a long injury, just has a long break to overcome. At home Freiburg beat Mönchengladbach and Wolfsburg (3:0), but lost against Mainz and Stuttgart (both 1:2).

At the bottom of the table lies the Hamburger SV. After 17 conceded goals and only a point in the first six matches coach Oenning was already fired. Now it took the club some weeks to present a new coach. It will be Thorsten Fink from FC Basel, but he will not start in Hamburg before next week. So manager Arnesen will be the coach in Freiburg, probably not the best to give the team security. The HSV didn't actually play to bad the last matches, won 2:1 in Stuttgart and was quite unlucky when got defeated 1:2 at home by Schalke afterwards.
