Italian Serie A 7. Round Results : Lazio 2-1 Roma

Diposkan oleh Unknown on 17 October 2011

Lazio emerged victorious in Sunday evening's Derby della Capitale after securing a dramatic last-gasp 2-1 win over arch rivals Roma. Hernanes and Miroslav Klose were the heroes as they netted second-half strikes, with the German's winner coming in the 93rd minute, to cancel out an early Pablo Osvaldo opener and catapult their team ahead of their opponents and up to fourth in the Serie A table.

The game hinged on the sending off of Roma defender Simon Kjaer, who was dismissed for the foul which resulted in the referee pointing to the spot for Lazio's equaliser.

The drama was not only confined to the on-field action, however, as there was actually a threat that the match would be cancelled following clashes between police and troublemakers as around 70 people were injured during a day of violence in the Italian capital on Saturday.

However, the fixture was given the green light, and the visitors seemed intent on taking the game by the scruff off the neck right from the first whistle.
Their high intensity start was rewarded with a goal as early as the fifth minute when Miralem Pjanic clipped the ball over the top of the Lazio defence for Osvaldo, who took a superb touch with his chest before slipping a neat side-foot finish past the advancing Federico Marchetti.

Lazio didn’t seem to know what had hit them and struggled to get out of their own half in the opening 10 minutes; Simone Perrotta went close to doubling the lead when he fizzed a low drive just past the post.

However, the hosts for the evening eventually found their feet and forced a few efforts of their own. First, top scorer Klose placed wide of goal and then Hernanes scuffed an excellent opportunity past Maarten Stekelenburg’s left-hand post.

The Biancocelesti were in the ascendancy now, and the Brazilian midfielder continued to ley fly from long range in order to try and restore parity. And while Stekelenburg spilled one such effort, they never really looked like breaching his net.

For their part, Roma still managed to create the better openings but Bojan and Osvaldo failed to convert a Jose Angel centre, while the former Barcelona player also saw a low strike saved by Marchetti.

The second half started at a similar pace to the first, but this time the momentum was clearly in Lazio’s favour. And just like in the first 45, the team in control took full advantage by scoring while they were on top when Hernanes thrashed a spot-kick home in the 51st minute after Cristian Brocchi had been fouled by Kjaer, who was given a red card for his troubles.

Lazio continued to pile on the pressure in an attempt to press home their man advantage. Klose headed against the crossbar and blazed an excellent opportunity high and wide, while Djibril Cisse fired a stunning volley against the post.

And just when it looked like they wouldn't find the breakthrough desired, Klose popped up inside the box in the 93rd minute to collect Matuzalem's pass and roll a calm finish into the net to secure a stunning late victory.

Betting TIPS and Predictions
WEST BROMWICH ALBION 2-0 WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS
Sunday’s action started with Wolverhampton Wanderers travelling to West Bromwich Albion in the Black Country derby. The Baggies came into the game having won just once in their previous eight Premier League games, however that run came to an end with a 2-0 win over their rivals to extend the visitors’ losing streak to five consecutive games. The result becomes Albion’s first home win of the season and sees them climb out of the relegation zone, winger Chris Brunt and striker Peter Odemwingie scoring the goals for Roy Hodgson’s side.

ARSENAL 2 – 1 SUNDERLAND
Arsenal have talisman Robin Van Persie to thank for their 2-1 over Sunderland.

The Dutchman scored his first after 28 seconds before former Gunner Sebastian Larsson curled in a great free kick just past the half-hour mark. However, the Arsenal captain came to the rescue just eight minutes from the end when he whipped a free kick of his own into the net, sending Arsenal into the top half of the table.

NEWCASTLE UNITED 2 – 2 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
The weekend schedule ended when Tottenham were denied a fifth straight win in a 2-2 draw at St James’ Park. Shola Ameobi came off the bench to score a wonderful left foot strike with four minutes left on the clock. Rafael Van Der Vaart opened the scoring for Spurs from the penalty spot after a foul on Emmanuel Adebayor by Steven Taylor. However, Demba Ba equalised when he converted just after the break following great work from Jonas Gutierrez down the left-hand side. Jermaine Defoe then gave the London side the lead once again with a great swivel and shot on the edge of the box to fire low past Tim Krul in the Toon goal. The game opened up with both teams looking to score again, but it was left to Ameobi to end a compelling watch with a deserved point.

BUNDESLIGA,-  Hamburg recorded a crucial away win over Freiburg to move to joint 16th position in the Bundesliga table. The guests started the match the better side of the two and needed only 12 minutes to break the deadlock. The Freiburg defence allowed Heung-Min Son too much space and the South Korean gifted HSV the lead with his third league goal of the season. Freiburg then took over the initiative a bit and the inevitable Papiss Cisse restored parity shortly after the break with a good finish. Nevertheless, Hamburg would take all three points home courtesy of substitute Ivo Ilicevic. The Croatian came off the bench in the 66th minute and found the net only seven minutes later after being set up by Gokhan Tore. Cisse should have made it 2-2 in the closing stages of the game, but the prolific attacker failed to convert a spot kick in the 81st minute.

Kaiserslautern emerged from a feisty encounter that saw both sides lose a man to emerge with a shock 2-1 victory over Schalke. After an end-to-end first half, Schalke keeper Ralf Fahrmann received his marching orders for felling the onrushing Dorge Kouemaha, leaving Christian Tiffert to put the visitors ahead. Shalke fought back following the loss of the goalkeeper, however. Jermaine Jones, on as a half-time substitute for Lewis Holtby, forced a spectacular save from Kevin Trapp with a ferocious effort, before Schalke were awarded a penalty of their own. Rodnei pulled back Jose Jurado, receiving a red card in the process, leaving Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to level the score. But with less than 20 minutes remaining, Kouemaha put the visitors back in front, sending a looping header over Lars Unnerstall. The Cameroonian’s strike proved enough for his side to come away from Gelsenkirchen with the unlikeliest of victories, and one that sees them rise to 14th – out of the relegation zone.

Andre Schurrle struck a leveller for Bayer Leverkusen to give them a 2-2 draw away to Borussia Monchengladbach this afternoon. Sidney Sam spurned a great chance for the visitors, but last season's runners-up weren't made to wait long for the breakthrough, with Stefan Reinartz tapping the resulting corner home from close range. The goal, however, only served as inspiration for the hosts, who came back with a volley of chances, with Marco Reus eventually getting his side back on level terms after rounding the keeper after 65 minutes. Things went from bad to worse for Leverkusen, with Gonzalo Castro receiving his marching orders, and Patrick Herrmann then put the hosts back in front with a deft chip into the net. It looked as though Leverkusen would be heading for their fourth defeat of the season, but in the dying minutes, Andre Schurrle netted a spectacular equaliser with a 20-yard screamer that flew into the top corner.

A goal in each half from Lukas Podolski was enough for Koln to defeat Hannover, who suffered their second defeat of the season in the RheinEnergieStadion clash. Podolski opened the scoring half way through the first period with a sublime free-kick which beat the sprawling Ron-Robert Zieler. Koln had chances to add to their lead, and Stale Solbakken’s men were almost punished for their wastefulness with 20 minutes remaining.Lars Stindl pulled the ball back to Sergio Pinto who drove the ball home from the edge of the box, only to see the lineman controversially rule the strike out for offside. Podolski made the points safe with five minutes remaining with a fierce left-footed strike after a partially-cleared corner, ensuring the hosts closed the gap on their opponents to just two points.

English Premier League Saturday Result (15. Oct 2011)

Diposkan oleh Unknown on 16 October 2011

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE,-  Saturday’s action kicked off with a cracker of a match between two old foes as Liverpool hosted Manchester United at Anfield. Steven Gerrard marked his comeback with a goal but failed to see his team home as Javier Hernandez bagged an equaliser. On the other hand, United’s neighbours and title rivals Manchester City continued their good run by routing Aston Villa by 4 goals to 1 at the Etihad. Elsewhere in the League, Norwich City beat Swansea, while Bolton got themselves out of the relegation zone with a win on the road at Wigan. There was also another home win for Stoke City, while Blackburn did well to hold QPR to a draw on the road.

Liverpool 1-1 Manchester United
This match has never been short on excitement, although this year it turned out to be a little different with Manchester United fielding a surprisingly conservative side with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Nani, Anderson and Javier Hernandez all named on bench. After a goal-less first half, both sides were a little more enterprising in the second. Liverpool did dominate at home, and managed to get their noses in front courtesy of their talismanic captain Steven Gerrard, who found the back of the net with a free-kick from just outside the box. Sir Alex Ferguson then brought on three players- Nani, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez as United began to see more of the ball. Their possession bore fruit in the 81st minute as Nani’s free-kick found Welbeck, who headed on the ball for an oncoming Hernandez, who in turn headed it home. The hosts though had a bevy of chances late in the game to get in front once more, but they failed to do so, partly due to some sharp goalkeeping by David De Gea and partly due to some shoddy finishing.

Manchester City 4-1 Aston Villa
City hosted Villa at the Etihad, looking for a victory to take them to the top of the table after United’s result earlier in the day and managed to bag all three points, with 4 different players finding the back of the net. With an eye on the Champions League match, Roberto Mancini decided to rest Samir Nasri, David Silva and Edin Dzeko and preferred to start with Mario Baotelli upfront. The Italian did not disappoint though and found the back of the net after 28 minutes. Andy Johnson then doubled the lead just 2 minutes after the restart after some woeful defending by Stephen Warnock as Vincent Kompany put the result beyond doubt after 52 minutes with City’s third. Villa did manage to peg the Citizens back after 65 minutes, with Warnock the scorer although City managed to restore their 3 goal lead 6 minutes later courtesy of James Milner.

Norwich City 3-1 Swansea
It was the clash of the two newly promoted teams and the Canaries emerged on top by beating Swansea at home. Anthony Pilkington broke the deadlock within a minute with Russell Martin doubling the hosts’ lead after 9 minutes. Swansea though gave themselves some hope of coming back by equalising through Danny Graham in the 12th minute, but they failed to find the back of the net as Pilkington put the result beyond doubt after 63 minutes. Norwich now climb to 9th in the table with 11 points in 8 games while Swansea fall to 11th with 8 points in as many games.

QPR 1-1 Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn broke their losing streak by battling for a draw against the Queen Park Rangers. Icelandic striker Heidar Helguson put the Hoops in front after 16 minutes and the hosts pushed on searching for a second. Rovers though managed to find an equaliser after 24 minutes as defender Chris Samba headed home from a corner. In the second half, QPR did create a few more chances, with a claim for penalty being turned down by referee Mark Clattenburg. Blackburn, though held on and managed to keep the score-line unchanged as they  finished the match with a point. Steve Kean’s men, however, now find themselves at the bottom of the table with just 5 points from 8 games, while QPR are 10 places above them with 9 points.

Stoke City 2-0 Fulham
Tony Pulis’ men meanwhile continued their excellent start to the season by beating Martin Jol’s Fulham at home. After a goal-less first half, neither of the sides managed to break the deadlock for the majority of the second as well and the match seemed to be heading for a draw. However, Jonathan Walters put the hosts ahead in the 80th minute as Rory Delap’s 87th minute header put the match beyond Fulham’s reach. With the win, Stoke now find themselves in 7th place with 12 points from 8 games, while Fulham find themselves in 12th place,  just 2 points above the relegation zone.

Wigan 1-3 Bolton
Owen Coyle’s Bolton beat Wigan away from home to move just above the relegation zone. Nigel Reo-Coker put the visitors in front after just 4 minutes only for Mohamed Diame to equalise after 40 minutes. However, Bolton regained their advantage just as the half was about to end courtesy of a goal from former Liverpool striker David N’Gog. The match though was still within Wigan’s reach, as the score remained 2-1 for the majority of the match, with Kevin Davies missing his penalty in the 73rd minute. Winger Chris Eagles though bagged Bolton’s third in stoppage time. As a result of their loss, Wigan now find themselves in 19th place, level on points with West Brom and Blackburn Rovers.

The most significant change in the table was right at the top as Manchester City moved 2 points clear of United at the summit. Liverpool remained in 5th place, but could find themselves dropping to 6th if Tottenham win tomorrow against Newcastle. The table seems to be taking shape, especially as far as the bottom half is concerned, with Blackburn, Wigan and West Brom all struggling in the league. However, with only 3 points separating the bottom 10 teams, anything could still happen with the majority of the season still to go. Super Sunday will see three matches being played, with West Brom taking on Wolves, Arsenal hosting Sunderland and Tottenham travelling to Newcastle.

Perjuangan Persipura Jayapura Kandas

Diposkan oleh Unknown on 28 September 2011

Bola muntah kemudian disambar Muslim Mubarak, namun melebar.

Selang dua menit kemudian, Boaz mengancam pertahanan Arbil. Setelah menerima umpan terobosan, Boaz lalu melepaskan tendangan keras, namun bisa diblok kiper Mohammed Kassid Kadhim.

Menjelang pertandingan berakhir, Arbil menurunkan tempo permainan. Persipura masih mencoba untuk menyamakan kedudukan. Boaz mendapat peluang emas, namun tendangannya dapat ditangkap Kassid. Hingga pluit panjang ditiupkan wasit, skor 1-0 tidak mengalami perubahan.

Indonesia Telan Kekalahan 0-3 Dari Iran

Diposkan oleh Unknown on 03 September 2011

LIGA INDONESIA,-  Tim nasional Indonesia menelan kekalahan 0-3 saat melawan tim tuan rumah Iran pada leg pertama pertandingan kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2014 putaran ketiga zona Asia, Jumat (2/9/2011) malam. Uniknya, terjadinya dua gol pertama Iran berawal dari bola mati.

Iran memang tampil mengontrol pertandingan sejak menit-menit awal.

Demi meredam tekanan lawan, Indonesia melakukan perangkap offside. Strategi itu cukup jitu, setidaknya hingga menit ke-30. Sementara Indonesia sesekali melakukan serangan balik.

Kedisiplinan barisan pertahanan Indonesia membuat peluang Iran kerap kandas.

Tertinggal 0-1, Indonesia balik menekan tim tuan rumah. Muhammad Ilham dengan skill individunya berhasil melewati beberapa pemain lawan sebelum melepaskan tendangan keras dari luar kotak penalti. Sayang, tembakan Ilham masih melayang tinggi di atas mistar.

Usaha belum membuahkan hasil, Indonesia kembali kebobolan. Proses gol kedua Iran mirip seperti gol sebelumnya.

Diposkan oleh Unknown on 23 August 2011

LIGA INDONESIA,-  Bertanding di Stadion Manahan, Solo, Senin (22/8/2011) malam WIB, pasukan Garuda kembali tampil kurang menggigit seperti di laga persahabatan kontra timnas U-23 beberapa hari lalu.

Organisasi permainan kurang tertata rapih.

Hingga turun minum, skor imbang tanpa gol tetap tak berubah.

Indonesia berbalik ungul ketika pertandingan memasuki menit ke-70.

Enam menit sebelum bubaran, Bepe mencetak gol keduanya.

Timnas kini unggul jauh 4-1.

Timnas Indonesia terus memborbardir pertahanan Palestina, beberapa peluang pun tercipta diantaranya melalui Okto Maniani dan Gonzales. Akan tetapi, hingga pertandingan berakhir, keunggulan 4-1 Indonesia tetap tak berubah.
