Considering Inter's dreadful start to the season -- they sit 17th, with just one win -- this is probably the last piece of news manager Claudio Ranieri wanted to be presented with this morning. Particularly since the nerazzurri have a Champions League tie with Lille coming up next week. Of course, Forlan isn't eligible for play in the tournament until next January, but a bit of rotation would be nice, ease those aging Inter legs.
Inter continue to wait on Andrea Poli as well, with the midfielder picking up yet another injury, this time to his left leg. The former Sampdoria man might see his debut come against Chievo, if all goes well.
